About Your Tealight Candle Holders
Flickering candlelight is so romantic and atmospheric, and they really help to set the scene. These custom candle holders custom printed with your unique designs help to amplify the theatrics. You can choose between plain unscented, or winter spice (warm apple and cinnamon). Available in a single or set of three, you can create your very own custom printed tealight holders with your designs and artwork. You can choose between a frosted or white finish for your candle holders, both of which are matte. The white finish has an opaque white background for your designs to be printed on top of, which gives your design a bright finish. The frosted finish keeps the glass slightly translucent, so the light will shine through the glass. This option gives your design more subtle colouring, as you'll be able to see through it a bit.

How Your Candle Holders are Printed & Made
Your set of tealight holders are built to safely and stylishly contain your candle whilst it burns. Designs are printed around the body of the tealight holder using dye sublimation, meaning the inks are fused deep into the material, creating a long-lasting print that won't rub away, peel away or scratch off. Holes are added to the bottom of the holder to create ventilation and prevent overheating.
Note that our printing processes do not use white ink. This means that white areas of your design will remain unprinted, which will be most apparent on the frosted glass options. If you wish for your design to show white, then we would recommend the matte white coated option.
Design Tips
Your design is printed around the circumference of the votive, which will appear differently depending on the option you choose. The tall tapered glass option will have a neat join, although will not be pattern matched. Finally, the round glass option will have a feathered seam, ensuring to leave no harsh edging. Due to the nature of the bowl-shape of this design, you will notice some image stretch - please ensure that you place the focal part of your design front and centre. The stretch will be more apparent in geometric patterns.
You may find that repeat patterns, text or small image collages work best on the majority of the styles. If you choose one large photo for your custom candle holders, this will be stretched and look distorted, so scale them down and position them where they can be seen. Monogram designs work well, so you can also print a message, name or slogan for a chic look. You can edit the text within the design interface, including the font, colour and size.
You have a choice of packaging options with your glass tealight holders. Opt for either a plain postal packaging or opt to have a gift packaging. Your gift packaging is available in a plain black card gift box (for the singles) or in a wooden gift packaging with a sliding lid (for the triple pack).
Please note: When selecting the round candle holder that faint lines run through the body of the glass. This is due to the bespoke handmade nature. In order to minimise this effect we recommend you use a repeating pattern rather than block colours.
How does this product enhance my...
Home

Design Brand
This cute set of tealight holders is a great addition to your product range, as candles and aromatherapy are extremely popular within the lifestyle and retail industries. Not only are they a great home decoration, but they also make a lovely present, so can be advertised as both to drive maximum custom. They made to order and the print is not affected by the heat of the flame so it'll last a lifetime.
Print Guideline
-
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
-
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
-
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
-
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
-
What are bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
-
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better-finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
-
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
-
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
-
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfilment.
How many are in the set?
The glass tealight holders are available in singles or as a set of three. When you purchase the set of three you make significant savings compared to ordering three singles.
Is a candle included?
Yes, your candle holders come with a tealight in your choice of scent. You can enjoy Winter Spice (warm apple and cinnamon) or opt for a plain unscented candle.
Is the print affected by heat?
No, we use a specialist printing process called dye sublimation to create a long-lasting print that won't rub, peel away or scratch off. The way your colours will appear is dependant on the option that you choose, you can read more about this in our design tips section above.
